Apple ADB is a protocol that allows Apple computers to communicate with peripheral devices such as keyboards, mice, and trackballs. It was introduced in 1986 and was used until 1998 when it was replaced by USB. The ADB connector is a 4-pin DIN connector that is similar in appearance to a PS/2 connector.
