The different levels of the Apple iBook keyboards. In the original (clamshell) Apple iBooks tangerine and blueberry, the keys were transparent with color-matching digits.

At the end of the clamshell series came the FireWire models with white keys. 

The new iBook era with the white case and still the G3 processor started again with a kind of transparent keys before they switched it back again to bright white keys as the G4 era started.
