The "bronze Keyboard"  PowerBook G3 Pismo

The **bronze keyboard** is a feature of the **PowerBook G3 Pismo** model, which was released by Apple in November 2000 ¹. It was the first Apple laptop to have a backlit Apple logo on the rear of the display ¹. The keyboard was also improved and now featured translucent bronze-tinted plastics, which  is the origin of the "bronze keyboard" nickname. The PowerBook G3 Pismo was also notable for its easy upgradability, including accessible drives and memory, and CPU daughtercards being separable from their logic boards.
